Took a last minute camping trip to Thomas Mountain. it felt like we were on an island in the sky. check out the views

In addition to my dual battery setup in my 4runner, I wanted something that was portable so I can leave behind at a campsite for the family. So I took an ammo box, an extra Odyssey battery I had laying around, and purchased some other parts I needed from Amazon and built a Portable Solar Generator. If you plan to build one, please consult an electrician if you are not experienced.

ARB fridge and Beats bill getting enough sun to power them up and charge the battery

Sun went down around 5:30pm… ARB Fridge now running on the battery

snow is in the forecast… it doesnt last long so you just gotta drop whatever you got going on and go… so @hadokyn and i did just that
we hit up cleghorn first with no luck

then we crossed the fwy over to Wrightwood… jackpot. lots of snow and first ones to hit an empty parking lot.

Air up and air down all 4 tires at the same time.

Parts list… I may have left out a couple items but message me if you have any questions.  Price for all the parts should run you between $170 – $240 not including compressor and compressor mount.  You don’t have to build it the way I did.  Custom it the way you want.  And if you just want a kit already pieced together, do some google research.  There’s a company that sells a complete kit for jeeps and raptors for $270.00.  I probably would have gone that route if it was available at the time I was building this.
